Rejecting Obito's Proposal
Obito had long been planning the Eye of the Moon Plan, and he even met with Yahiko to explain his plan. However, Yahiko rejected all of Obito's plans and openly instructed Konan and Nagato to stay away from Obito.

Nagato's Attitude Change
Nagato had a close relationship with Yahiko. That's why when Yahiko died by suicide, Nagato immediately became enraged and attacked Hanzo's subordinates.
